Jane has developed her vocation as a tax specialist in a variety of senior and strategic roles in legal and accountancy environments.

Having trained and practised as a barrister before joining KPMG, she is also a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Institute of Tax.

Throughout her career, Jane has assisted and built tax practices at law firms (Bristows and Campbell Hooper) and was a Corporate Tax Partner at Speechly Bircham. Her desire to develop tax solutions through client-focused relationships led her to establish her own consultancy practice.  She works with law and accountancy practices as well as continuing to advise businesses and their stakeholders.

Jane’s expertise and interests focus on advising owner managed businesses and SMEs through the stages of their life cycle. From structuring their establishment, to ensuring tax-efficient funding and investment, growing the team, and incentivising personnel, through to maximising returns on eventual exit.

Jane consistently provides clear communication on the technical aspects and implementation of tax planning and management. This approach is reflected in the testimonials from her clients and colleagues, who say that her style makes tax more approachable and understandable.
